| KUBIN-NICHOLSON RECEIVES WISCONSIN’S WOMEN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (WBE) CERTIFICATION | |
| MILWAUKEE, WI -- The Department of Commerce (Commerce) has certified Kubin-Nicholson as being woman-owned business enterprise (WBE). To qualify for state WBE status an applicant must prove that the business is at least 51 percent owned, controlled and daily managed by a woman. Margaret Rees is the majority owner of the Kubin-Nicholson with her granddaughter Elizabeth Rees as her trustee. Kubin-Nicholson specializes in large format printing in a variety of categories including point-of-sale, standees, litho labels, indoor banners, trade show displays, vehicle graphics, wall maps, large posters, and many different types of self-adhesive graphics and has been in business over 80 years. Today many companies have a commitment to supplier diversity and we are thrilled to be part of this community, says CEO and Chairman of the Board, Margaret Rees. To better promote these state certified vendors and to make it easy for buyers to find them, Commerce maintains an online WBE Directory. Through the Commerce website buyers will be able to obtain information about the products and services offered by Kubin-Nicholson.
